Gatwick Accident Reports

Fortunately despite its location, size and surrounding geography, Gatwick has been blessed with a good safety record since it became London's second airport. However, in the days when the technology employed in both aircraft and Air Traffic Control was reasonably primitive by today's standard, accidents and incidents were more prevalent.

The official reports of such events make very interesting reading, especially so for those who remember or witnessed them. Our aim is to catalogue the main events as a historical record as and when the information can be collated.
